sophomore mini collection
Where are my wings?
The night has gone, and with it the darkness that gripped me. I might not be fxrever young, but I don't care anymore. I want the sun. I wxrship the sun.

My wings
my sophomore mini collection operates as an expression of my never-ending insularity, a retrospective pondering of where the path wavered - where my wings fell off.
But it also is a brazen acceptance of my insularity, of my lust for light and distrust in darkness. An upfront declaration of my circle of inner peace, showered in fresh air, light and eye-comfy colour.
Vision
In bringing my vision to life, I found myself wanting to throw out my initial playbook. Rewrite the code. Fabrics: light and airy
Colours: bright yet pleasing
Silhouettes: subtle but unique

A central design language was the fluid shape of a wing, which informed my style lines and overall fashion landscape for this collection.

Locating my wings
This collection served as light after dark.
A way for me to embrace a sombre sense of solitude after a blazing outburst.
There is a definite shift in my design language, a realisation that less is more, bright is might.
